The proper English learning process is not only stated on linguistic terms but also on the usage of recently emerged modern technologies, which are known as web technologies. Numerous studies have aimed to demonstrate the efficiency of blended learning, which combines language learning and web technologies in comparison with traditional methods. However, there are no eminent experimental works on the effectiveness of using Web 2.0 technologies in English learning from the language perspective. The present study is focused on the analysis of current trends in English grammar as well as on the effectiveness of Web 2.0 technologies in the grammar learning and the verb structures usage in particular. The research involves conducting an A/B experiment, whose results will be interpreted through the prism of qualitative linguistic and quantitative statistical approaches. The results of the experiment are expected to shed light on the effectiveness and expediency of using Web 2.0 technologies. The research employs automatic material generation using state-of-the-art neural network algorithms as well as automatic material extraction actualized by iWeb corpus queries and custom-written crawling scripts. The aim is the framework implementation for working with language material, which makes learning not only more effective but also accessible for any individual. Research in this area determines the model by which both current and future generations will be able to learn in a more beneficial way.
