Improving a Manufacturing/Trading Company's Competitiveness through the Choice of a Logistics Intermediary

Keywords: methods and algorithms for improving competitiveness, production enterprise, cost optimization, the task "make or buy". The purpose of this work is to determine the methods of increasing the competitiveness of a trading company that operates in the Russian market of online trade in children's goods and general goods, as well as to optimize the transport and warehouse activities of the enterprise. Within the framework of the written final qualification work, the relevance and problem of this topic is formulated, the analysis of the Russian online trading market, as well as the Russian cargo transportation market is carried out. The financial indicators of the company, its warehouse and transport activities were studied. As part of the logistics activities of the company, the main problems were identified and ways to solve them were outlined. The second chapter analyzes the theoretical aspects of the concept of "enterprise competitiveness", methods of its improvement. Next, the "Make or Buy" task was considered on a specific example. The break-even point was calculated. The sequence of implementation of the proposed measures in the company's activities has been developed. The third chapter compares the work of the enterprise before and after the implemented measures. The economic analysis of the effectiveness of the implemented measures through the strategic profit model is made. 5.
