The purpose of the work was to study the functioning of logistics at the company "Stavrolen" with a deeper understanding of the process of preparing cargo for transportation and, on the basis of this study, to determine ways to improve the efficiency of transportation of the Company's products, followed by the development of recommendations of the Company. The following tasks were set and completed: - Conducting a comprehensive study of the economic and logistics activities of the petrochemical enterprise LLC "Stavrolen", determining the directions of the Company's development; - Identification of the logistics conditions in which the Company operates and the problems it faces when organizing the transportation of its own products; - Development of relevant proposals to improve the efficiency of transportation for the Company with a focus on the development of JSC "Russian Railways", which will reduce logistics costs in the future; - Justification of the effectiveness of the proposed logistics solutions by using mathematical calculations in the work. Specifically, as an increase in the efficiency of transportation of petroleum products, the technology of sending rolling stock by routes according to the firm "threads" of the schedule was proposed. The empirical basis was the extensive experience of JSC "Russian Railways" at the site of the North Caucasus Railway in organizing the technology together with large production enterprises, the readiness of the operator of the "First Cargo Company" to implement the technology and the availability of its extensive experience. The relevance of the technology in the context of the expansion of the customer base at Stavrolen, namely the appearance in 2021 of a new large polypropylene customer located in Rostov - on - Don, also served as a basis. As the results of the study : - a detailed theoretical description of the technology of transportation on solid "threads" of the schedule and the technology of route shipments, which are an important component of the proposed technology, was presented; - an analysis of the company's readiness for implementation was carried out, namely, an analysis of the company's logistics, an analysis of the environment in which the company will implement the technology; -with the help of the strategic profit model, possible economic efficiency has been identified.
