Improving Logistics Processes in a Manufacturing Company

The graduation paper is devoted to the study of the logistics activities of the production company "BSH Household Appliances" LLC in order to identify problems in logistics activities and develop recommendations aimed at improving the level of service, revenue and return on equity. As part of the work, the company's activities in the B2B segment were considered. The order management process is key business process and inefficient organization of order management processes can lead to non-fulfillment of the order and reduction of service level. The aim of the work is to improve the logistics processes by proposing a system of measures. Main tasks: • Market analysis; * Comprehensive assessment of the company's activities; * Identification of key factors affecting the processes; * Study of scientific sources describing possible solutions; * Process reorganization; * Cost-effectiveness assessment. The object of the study is the activity of the company "BSH Household Appliances" LLC. The subject of the study is the improvement of logistics processes in a manufacturing company. As a result of the analysis of the economic activities of BSH Household Appliances LLC, problems in the field of order management were identified, which ultimately lead to an increase in unfulfilled orders and, as a result, a decrease in revenue. Thus, the developed solutions are mainly aimed at solving these problems. As a result of the proposed improvement procedure, the goal of the work was achieved – the return on equity increased significantly. The work consists of 117 pages, 3 appendices, 46 figures and 12 tables. BSH Russia (LLC "BSH Household Appliances") is a subsidiary of the German concern BSH Hausgeräte GmbH. Since 1994, the company has been engaged in the production, sales, and service of household appliances under the trademarks Bosch and Siemens (under the license of the copyright holders), Gaggenau and Neff.
