This final qualifying work is called: « Influence of Professional and Personal Competencies on the Manifestation of Labor Interests of an International Company Employees». The paper consists of 74 pages, which include the Introduction, three Chapters, Conclusion, Bibliography and Appendix. The present project describes the bachelor study that examines the influence of employees’ competencies on their labor interests through identifying the concept of competencies, labor interests, their connection and correlation and also conducting a survey on Starbucks employees. The main purpose of the paper is to determine the relationship between the employees’ professional and personal competencies and their labor interests. To achieve this purpose all studied, obtained and collected data will be analyzed and the results will be summarized in order to confirm or disprove the hypotheses put forward. The research methodology of the study is based on four methods: analysis of the impact competencies on the level of labor interests of all Starbucks employees based on the questionnaire method, assessment of the relationship between competencies and labor interests based on correlation analysis, analysis based on the interview method, analysis of corporate documents that regulate the formation of professional and personal competencies of Starbucks employees. Correlation analysis has shown that sensitivity to stimuli usually negatively affects labor interest. There has been identified the professional and personal competencies that all employees must have to be successful at Starbucks, such as: attendance and flexibility, compliance with prescribed rules and procedures, suitability for work in a given cultural and work environment, teamwork. We found out that there is a positive correlation between a successful profile and the desire to do work together with other partners, but not just to separate jobs. This factor is one of the keys to career success in Starbucks. It was also detected that there is a positive correlation between a successful profile and labor interest. Successful partners are more likely to do unpaid work if the work is fun and interesting. As the result, we formulated certain recommendations for Starbucks, which implementation is expected to increase the labor interest of Starbucks partners and enhance the likelihood of successful careers for new Starbucks employees.
