This work is in the field of gastronationalism, and explores the British national cuisine from the very moment of its appearance until the 19th century. Turning our attention to the core of the theory of gastronationalism: the сurry effect, it is necessary to understand how Britain, under French culinary pressure, invent its own culinary logic, traditions and etiquette, introduces achievements in the field of tea drinking into the world culture, and creates a classification in food.
