Development 4K Skills in Geography Classes

The purpose of this work was to create a methodological development of a series of geography lessons with a clearly expressed metasubject component, enclosed in exercises, the formation of soft skills (4K competencies) and ICT competence of students. Objectives of this work: • Creation of scripts of geography lessons for grade 10 on the topic "Geography of Canada and the United States", each of which contributed to the development of meta-subject skills from the group of "4K skills" - communication, cooperation, creative and critical thinking • Creation of assignments and teaching materials necessary for the implementation of the developed scenarios • Approbation of scripts of lessons in the conditions of a secondary school • Analysis of the results of approbation and the formulation of methodological recommendations for the course As a result of the work performed, a methodological development of a series of geography lessons for grade 10 on the topic "Geography of Canada and the United States" was created, tested in school conditions in the III quarter of the 2019/2020 academic year The approbation of the lessons was successful, focused on student development, cooperation, critical and creative thinking.
