To improve engagement in digital learning, making digital learning itself effective and equally available, we need to be clear about the factors affecting inequality of online engagement. Based on the US school districts’ data, being available for pandemic period of 2020 and demonstrating students’ engagement in online educational services, this research aimed to answer the question of how inequality of students’ engagement with online learning relates to socio-economic status of a school district they belong to.
