HSE team has advanced to the quarterfinals of FDI
For the first time in the history of Higher School of Economics, the HSE Faculty of Law team has reached the quarterfinals rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court (“FDI Moot”) 2018 in Stockholm, the most prestigious competition in the field of international investment arbitration.
HSE Students Win Vis Moot
On March 29th, an HSE Faculty of Law team was the first in Russian history to win the The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot). It beat the University of Cambridge in the finals, and was the best among 362 university teams from around the globe.
Fulbright Scholar on Working and Living in Moscow
HSE’s Faculty of Law is a partner of the Fulbright Scholar Programme and each year has the opportunity to host a Distinguished Chair in Sustainable Development. David Wirth, a Professor who teaches and supervises research at Boston College Law School, arrived at HSE in this capacity in September 2016 and spent the past academic year in Moscow. HSE Students Won Russian Jessup for the Second Year Running
On February 5th, 2017, the national finals of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, one of the world’s most prestigious law competitions for students, was held in Moscow. A team from the HSE Faculty of Law took first place for the second year running.
