Who is a management consultant? How to become a professional in this field?

Arkadiy  Prigozhin, an international consultant, Honorary president of the National Institute of Certified Management Consultants gave the workshop  on management consulting for students of our program .

Arkady Ilyich presented his approach to management consulting. In the form of a demonstration session, he showed how the interaction between the client and the consultant is structured, plans, organization's tasks are clarified, management weaknesses are identified, etc. consequence of a request for further work.
After the session, the participants received a unique opportunity to analyze the work of the venerable consultant. This is a very productive way of drawing attention to the basics of activity and key points in the development of the interaction of the consultant with the client. But it is also a great way to share your knowledge and experience in management consulting in an interactive way and draw attention to the issues that consultants work on. It was interesting to all the participants  to look at the essence of the organization from a new perspective, the limitations of the systems approach, the pathology of goal setting, the disease of organizations, etc. Therefore, the stated role of the management consultant as a doctor did not cause a failure. On the contrary, participants saw new opportunities for their work in the organization given this role.
The master class was held in a warm and very creative atmosphere.
