Online Music Meeting Dedicated to the 180th Birth Anniversary of Pyotr Tchaikovsky

On November 21 an online music meeting ‘Happy Birthday, Pyotr Tchaikovsky!’ will be held at HSE University.
The online marathon is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the most famous and beloved Russian composer, whose music has accompanied us since early childhood — Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. During the event we will listen to chamber, symphony, and opera music, talk about his life and work, and ask ourselves what we have in common with Pyotr Ilyich, and why he is our No. 1 composer. Traditionally, not only researchers of his works, but also by performers of his music will take part in the event.
Ada Einbinder, Russia's leading expert on the composer's work, head of the Department of handwritten and printed sources at the Tchaikovsky Museum in Klin, as well as Alexander Ramm, cellist, winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, and Vyacheslav Valeev, conductor, Associate Professor at the Moscow Conservatory, will take part in the event. Marina Lebed and Kristina Agaronyan will host the meeting.
