The HSE Glossary is a Russian-English glossary of departments' names, positions, and various terms widely used on the HSE websites and in paperwork. The glossary is maintained jointly by HSE Expert Translation Centre and Online Media Unit.
Please note that translations of deparment names and job titles should be approved by the HSE Expert Translation Centre. HSE University uses uniform translations of job titles on its website and in official documents. Contact the Expert Translation Centre if you need to translate the name of a new division or check the existing translation.
The HSE Style Guide is maintained by the Online Media Unit. The guidelines have been developed by professional native English speaking editors in order to maintain a consistent style in all HSE websites, presentations, and brochures. The guidelines should be followed by all translators and editors who work with the University's English webpages or promotional literature. The HSE Style Guide is available in English and in Russian.
