Baumanskaya Metro Station Is Closed for Renovation

 

Please be informed that the Baumanskaya metro station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line is closed starting from February 8, 2015, for renovation which is to be completed within 11 months.

The closure of the station will redistribute the passenger traffic to nearby stations, including Kurskaya, Chkalovskaya, Elektrozavodskaya, Komsomolskaya, Krasnoselskaya, Krasnyye Vorota and Aviamotornaya.

As of 8 February, public transport will deliver passengers to the Baumanskaya station. The M Bus (a free express bus without intermediate stops) will shuttle (with an interval of less than one minute in peak hours) between the Kurskaya and Baumanskaya metro stations. In addition, the B Tram (with all stops and the interval of six minutes in peak hours) will be launched on the Kurskaya-Baumanskaya-Krasnoselskaya-Sokolniki route.

To ensure failsafe movement of public transport, the traffic police will temporarily restrict the automobile traffic on Staraya Basmannaya, Spartakovskaya and Baumanskaya streets.
