International Student Information Centre Launched for Indonesia and Malaysia

The Higher School of Economics has launched the HSE International Student Information Centre Office in Indonesia and Malaysia. The university is collaborating with ImageRnR-Indonesia, which acts as an educational promotion and marketing planner to promote HSE and act as the university’s representative in Indonesia and other countries in Southeast Asia.

The HSE International Student Information Centre aims to share information both on study programmes at HSE and student life in Russia. The Centre also works to increase brand awareness of HSE and to attract more potential candidates who may be considering continuing their studies at HSE.

As Ivan Prostakov, HSE Vice Rector, states, 'Our project in Indonesia and Malaysia, supported by ImageRnR-Indonesia, is based on the critical importance of higher education as a catalyst in accelerating the economic, political and sociocultural agendas of these countries. We also believe that the increasing number of Indonesian and Malaysian students at HSE will make an important contribution in developing relations between Russia and ASEAN countries’.

ImageRnR-Indonesia provides students and their parents with comprehensive information about HSE, the cost of living in Russia, study programmes, and admissions. The Centre also serves as a bridge between students and HSE by offering special teleconferencing services. HSE representatives are happy to visit with potential students personally and to arrange a presentation for their busy parents. Potential students and others who are looking for information on HSE can contact the Centre by calling (62-21) 5291 7476 or +62 8777 522 1274 in Indonesia, or +60 1112 578 166 in Malaysia.
