Students learn to understand, analyze and consider modern cultural trends. The programme includes fundamental subjects and disciplines in the humanities - from history and sociology of culture, to the rhetoric of everyday life and critical writing. From the very beginning of the course, the students will work and become familiar with the latest research methods and techniques of working with cultural facts. They will also have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cultural projects and events.
Any student or 2020 graduate of a Russian or international university is eligible to take part in the Student Research Paper Competition. Papers can be submitted from September 1 to October 15. The competition has been held at HSE University since 2003.
The HSE University administration has approved proposed structural changes to the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of the Humanities. The changes will streamline managerial processes and better facilitate the faculties’ pursuit of research and educational objectives. The changes will take effect at the start of new academic year on September 1, 2020.
