Risk attitudes and labor mobility

<p>This paper attempts to explain the differences in the people’s behavior on the labor market by exogenous agents' preferences of risk and uncertainty. The subject of this research is the Russians' labor mobility in the context of their individual attitude towards risk. Estimates of various measures of labor mobility and willingness to take risk were obtained from the additional questionnaire RLMS -2009 'Choice Strategy'. The descriptive and regression analysis of the relationship between individual labor mobility and personal risk attitude  were made on the base of RLMS 2006-2012 dataset . The significance and robustness of coefficients in the regression verify that personal risk attitudes affects personal labor mobility.</p>
