As a subject of study was chosen strategic management world's largest media company The Walt Disney Company. Strategic management can more fully consider the organization. From his point of view it is possible to scientifically explain why some organizations are actively developing , while others can fail and bankruptcy or going through a period when they can barely cover their costs , ie process of conquest and permanent change of leadership in the market.Subject corporate strategies of media described in books by authors such as Iris A. and Byugen J., Vartanova E., Kirii I. , Albarran A. Subject strategic management developed in the writings of AA Thompson , AJ Strickland , Porter M. Kotlera F. Keller , K. Strategic management of media companies - the theme to the fullest, little studied.Objective: to identify the strategic priorities of the Russian representation of The Walt Disney Company and their comparison with the priorities of Russian media .Research objectives:1. Analyze the concept of "strategic management of media companies"2 . Examine Strategic Management The Walt Disney Company through an analysis of public sources.3 . Conduct expert survey managers of large media companies , including the Russian office of The Walt Disney Company.4 . Analyze and describe the discourse of the Russian office managers The Walt Disney Company and the Russian media .5 . Conduct a SWOT- analysis of the strategic priorities of The Walt Disney Company.As a result of this study , we concluded that the strategic priorities are essential in the work of The Walt Disney Company, and its development. In the discourse of media managers of Russian companies and the Russian office of The Walt Disney Company, there are differences in the wording of the main strategic priorities for their implementation in the corporate structure . There are significant differences between the approaches to strategic management mediakompainy Russian and the Russian office of The Walt Disney Company, in terms of implementation of the strategic priorities of the company's corporate culture. Thus, the research hypothesis is partially confirmed that the main priorities of the strategic management of the Russian branch The Walt Disney Company and other major Russian media differ significantly.
