Video Blog as a Tool for Promotion of Knowledge, Education and Entertainment Modern Audience

The study attempted to prove and ascertain that despite the relatively recent nature of video blogging, it is a powerful tool that can equally serve to popularize the knowledge, educate or entertain the audience. The paper is divided into three parts, each of which is represented by a separate study. The first chapter examines the video blog as an element of a new media. It reveals the «vlog» concept, provides a portrait of a «video blogger» and its audience. The second chapter refers to the popularization of the knowledge and educational roles of a video blog as well as the impact of a modern technology on these processes. The third practical part of the study represents two video blogs that the author has created in order to clearly illustrate the 3 missions of the discussed web media tool.
