Professional Project Management Consultants (for Example, Employees of International Companies)

The object of this research is positioning of management consultants as a professionals. The subject of the research is a set of criteria, competencies, skills and knowledge that make up the practical activities of management consultants. Empirical objects are the management consultants, working in international consulting companies. The theoretical basis for the work are the publications of foreign and domestic researchers Final qualifying work consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion, application materials also attached. The first chapter is devoted to the analysis of theoretical works in the field of sociology of professions and organizational aspects of professional work of employees of professionals The second chapter is devoted to methodological information on the studies described object, the subject, objectives, statistical sample, presented the hypothesis and described research tools. In the third chapter was made theoretical analysis of works devoted to the history of the development of management consulting and analysis of the interviews. In the conclusion presented main conclusions as a result of research. The following tasks have been solved: Reconstruction of formation of the management consulting as a profession in the context of formation of professional groups Analyzed reasons for entering the profession management consultants, analyzed the process of entry into the profession and described the mechanisms of "closure" Analyzed methods and processes of socialization of a new employee in the consulting company Described organizational aspects of management consultants Presented forms of monitoring and evaluation of consultants to manage Described methods of formation and distribution of knowledge within the organization, as well as ways of communication for the purpose of acquiring knowledge, as part of the professional culture.
