Attractiveness of the Russian Restaurant Industry (Pizzeria Segment)

This work consists of three chapters. The first chapter, entitled "The Theoretical Basis of the Study," presents the main theoretical concepts, such as the hospitality industry, the restaurant business, as well as approaches to the perception of the hospitality industry, the classification of restaurant establishments and the role of restaurant business in the hospitality industry. The second chapter is fully devoted to the methodology of the study and contains its full description. The third chapter contains a direct analysis of the attractiveness of the restaurant industry, namely the pizzeria segment. At the end of the chapter, a concrete assessment of the attractiveness of the industry is presented. The basis for this work were the works of the founders of strategic management M.Porter and A.Tompson and A.J. Strickland. In addition, part of the theoretical base was provided by an analysis of foreign and domestic periodicals. As for the empirical data, they were obtained from various statistical sources, including the media, Rosstat website, restaurant business experts' estimates and official websites of industry representatives.
