TV Programs with Children's Participation: Interrelation of Historical, Ethical and Production Aspects

In view of the increasing tendency of children`s appearance on federal channels, the purpose of this research is to develop a production plan of the most popular TV programs with children's participation. The first part of the project deals with the history of television and the development of children's television in Russia. We also examine its typological features and reveal the role of the federal channels in the information society. The second part addresses the issue of interactions between children and mass media, where we consider different hypothesis of psychologists, sociologists and journalists and their experiments. The final stage consists of a comparison and analysis of the top rating shows with children, identifying the common tendency, revealing drama devices, structures, characters, theme preferences and theme restrictions.
