Specifics of Women’s Role Transformation in the Japanese Business Culture

Annotation To the thesis on the topic "Specifics of Women’s Role Transformation in the Japanese Business Culture". Completed by a student of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE Melnic Anastasia The object of the study is business culture in Japan, the subject is the transformation of the role of women in the Japanese business culture. The goal of the work is a comprehensive study of the transformation of the status of women in the business sphere, and how their role has changed. To achieve the stated goal, it is necessary to implement the following tasks: 1. To study the historical preconditions for the formation of the status of women; 2. To examine what role a woman plays in the modern world in the context of business culture; 3. To identify and study the impact of public, legal and state structures on the status of women in Japan. To solve the tasks the following research methods will be used: analytical, analysis, classification, data comparison, and generalization. The relevance of the chosen topic is explained by the insufficient degree of comprehensive study of the problem of the status of women, as well as its role not only in the business sphere, but also in Japanese society. Graduation qualification work is executed on 55 pages, consists of introduction, two chapters, conclusion and list of used literature and sources. In the introduction, the relevance of the presented research topic is outlined and the purpose and tasks of the work are defined. In the first chapter "The role of the social status of women in Japanese culture," the stages and reasons for the formation of the existing status of women in Japanese society in the context of social life are examined. The second chapter "Woman in the context of Japanese business culture" is devoted to the study of the status of women in the working area within the selected chronological period. In conclusion, the main conclusions are drawn on the basis of the study.
