Personnel management (human resources management, HR management, Human Resources Management) is the area of ​​human activity in economics and management aimed at selecting and efficiently using human resources in the enterprise, for achieving the company's goals in the optimal mode of labor productivity and staff satisfaction. Personnel management is an integral part of the enterprise management and includes three main areas: personnel selection and adaptation, operational (training, development, evaluation, internal communication, motivation, stimulation) and strategic personnel management. Accordingly, the HR-manager has the following tasks: creation and maintenance of a personnel reserve for the enterprise, personnel search, selection of suitable employees from the general group of candidates, adaptation of new employees to working conditions and the established collective in the enterprise; Evaluation of staff, both working and newly recruited; Training and development of employees on the basis of ongoing assessments and the needs of the enterprise, career planning; Assessment of professional suitability, parting with workers who do not meet the conditions and objectives of labor; Control of work safety, level of moral and physical condition of employees; Strategic planning based on the design and analysis of work processes.
