Year of Graduation: 2018

The thesis is devoted to the study of the talent management practices influence on the organization and talented employees in Russian business organizations. The purpose of the study is to identify and systematize the effects of the talent management practices in Russian business organizations. In this study, we are talking about the effects in the perception of participants in the talent management practices (perceived effects). Scientific relevance lies in the low level of attention to the expected (perceived) effects of the talent management practices, especially at the level of individual employees. This study is based on a qualitative methodology: data were collected with the use of semi-structured interviews with talent specialists and talented employees (20 people). Based on the results of the analysis, the identified effects were structured according to the levels of stakeholders (society, owners, managers, HR-managers and talented employees). In the process of work, not only the existing categories in literature were confirmed, but also new ones were found, especially among the negative effects. It was also concluded that the most striking manifestations of negative effects relate to the aspects such as a talented employee’s status, as well as relations and communication with line managers.
