Russian IT labor market is experiencing a huge shortage of qualified personnel. In particular, it is difficult for small companies and state organizations, as they do not have the opportunity to compete with large technological companies that are recognized on the market. The labor market becomes "candidate", applicants begin to dictate their terms to employers.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the importance of the employer brand for IT professionals when looking for work.
