In this work we consider methods of proving Lyapunov stability in case we are given some first integrals. These methods are direct construction of Lyapunov function, a topological method and Energy-Casimir method. We also consider the ways to use these methods by proving stability of a rotating rigid body. At the end we give ways how can one find a few first integrals.
