The paper is devoted to adaptation for the Russian sample (related to the context of the education) and validation of the TRI 2.0 methodics that measures the construct of technological readiness. The methodics consists of 4 subscales with 4 statements each with an assessment of agreement on a 5-point scale. The present study describes two stages of the adaptation of the instrument with the validation of the final version of the adopted questionnaire. The sample of the first testing of the instrument was recruited by the participants of the Innovation in Education Competition (KIVO-2018) in the amount of 355 people (16-72 years), the sample of the second testing was recruited by the participants of the conference “Trends in the development of education 2019” in the amount of 263 people (18-70 years). An analysis of the constructive validity of the instrument was carried out for the second version and included verification of the factor structure, consistency of estimates between subscales, as well as consistency with other indicators of consumption and technology estimates and attitudes towards digital services. The analysis of the first implementation of the methodics demonstrated low reliability for inhibitor subscales, as well as the need to revise a number of statements, the second version of the methodics demonstrated more correct functioning and generally higher reliability rates, however, due to the low reliability of the inhibitor subscales the structure of the tool was revised in one subscale Negative attitude to technology. Assessment of constructive validity demonstrated the consistency of the factor structure of the final version of the methodics, as well as the expected consistency with indicators of technology use and attitudes towards digital services. Recommendations are given on the use of the questionnaire in a 3-subscale configuration, the possible optimization of the categories of the questionnaire, as well as on the procedure of scoring and interpreting the results with the proposed conditional norms
