Development of Regional Cinematograph by the Example of the North Caucasus

Understanding of regional cinematograph from conceptual point of view allow to consider it as a form of artistic organization, where single production provided to be closely related to broad national and sociocultural context. Thereby dificulties connected to determination of the place of local cinematograph in the general cultural complex. This work is dedicated to research of North Caucases cinematograph as single integral form having its own specific festures related to customs and religious traditions. The main scientific question is which factors negatively affect on formation of North Caucases cinematograph as perspective and popular representative of the cinema industry. Research methodology is developed which is based on historical and theoretical analysis, context analysis, comparative analysis. During researhc of the problems connected to current status of regional cinematograth, methodology of practical sociological researches such as was used. Researches results shown that the current North Caucases cinemtograph is not stable and need in financial support of the State and investors for succesful production. The things needed to support developments consist of: opening of specialized creative directions in regional universities, holding of festivals and master classes, launching the independent regional projects, support of creative young people, active displey pf initiative by starting cinematographists, financing of debuts. Based on research results the recommendations proposed which can be put into practice and improve situation in the field of cinematograph in the North Caucasus.
