Watching Paracinema as Type of Cultural Consumption

The study was aimed to explore the phenomenon of paracinema consumption, i.e. intentional consumption of low-quality films. Qualitative research design was applied. As a result, the key choice criteria of low-quality films were determined. Also the study helps to reveal the consumer motivation understanding paracinema consumption and its role in the construction of the consumers’ social identities.
