This master's thesis is devoted to the study of manga, Japanese black and white comics, as an educational tool in the process of studying Japanese business culture. Among other types of comics, manga was specially chosen, as it is a reflection of Japanese reality and culture. The paper analyzes Japanese business culture from the perspective of three cultural theories: The Cultural Map by E. Mayer, Hofstede Dimensions, and the Lewis Model. As a result of the comparison of these concepts a detailed description of Japanese business culture was made. In addition, the study examined how business culture affects the work of an organization and the ways of it`s manifested in various functional areas. These examples were found and illustrated by K. Shirokane's "Young Shima Kosaku" manga, which was chosen as an educational tool. The main result of the work is the development of practical recommendations on the use of manga in the classroom, as well as a sample lesson plan on Japanese business culture using a manga tool.
