The Usage of Reflexive Activity in the Development of Productive Speech Skills

The theses is completed by Dormidontova N.P., a 2nd year master's student of "School of foreign languages" of the National Research University Higher School of Economic The paper is devoted to the study of reflection for the development of productive speech skills of senior school students. The aim of the research: to create a set of techniques for reflexive activity for the development of productive speech skills. The structure of the work consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusion, bibliography, including 67 sources, 9 annexes. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the research topic, analyzes the degree of study of the problem, specifies the object, subject, purpose, tasks, hypothesis, research methods, methodological base, theoretical and practical significance, lists research methods, reveals scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance. The first Chapter contains a theoretical analysis of problems of development of productive speech skills, main concepts used in this work defines the role and functions of reflective activity in the learning process, the responsibilities in reflective activity when creating oral and written statements. In the second Chapter, an experimental training was conducted, during which a set of techniques for reflexive activity was designed, the purpose and purpose of which was to contribute to the more effective development of productive speech skills of students in English lessons. In conclusion, the main results of our work on the use of reflexive activity techniques in teaching writing and speaking in English lessons are formulated. The results of experimental training demonstrate that the level of development of productive speech skills depends on the degree of formation of reflexive skills of senior school students at various stages of speech production. In accordance with this, the inter-related and mutually dependent development of productive speech skills and reflection leads to an increase in the level of oral and written speech proficiency. Annexes contain additional research data in the form of tables, which are attached to the main text of the research paper.
