The paper considers mistakes in verbal constructions of bilingual children with German dominant language and Russian monolingual children on the basis of the corpus of narratives. The study analyzes cases of incorrect lexical choice, errors related to verb government and choice of verb aspect, as well as the main narrative strategies of the participants. The study shows that in most cases, the cause of mistakes in bilingual children is not transfer, but incomplete acquisition of the Russian language or attrition. The influence of the German language is noticeable in the analysis of some lexical mistakes and mistakes related to verb government, but even here it is quite limited.
