Development of a Maturity Model for Managing Return flows in Supply Chains

The title of the topic of the master's thesis: "Development of a maturity model for management of return flows in supply chains." Key words: maturity model, reverse logistics, return management system, return flow. The aim of the work is to improve the efficiency of return flow management in supply chains. This paper consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and annexes. The introduction defines the purpose and objectives of the study, as well as substantiates the relevance and practical significance of the work. The first chapter examines the theoretical aspects of maturity models and approaches to their development. The theoretical aspects of return flow control are also explored. The second chapter is devoted to the analysis of existing models of maturity of reverse logistics and identification of their weaknesses. Based on the analysis carried out, a proprietary maturity model is developed, as well as a procedure for its application. In the third chapter, the developed maturity model is tested on a specific company. The analysis of the company's economic activities is carried out and the process of managing return flows is described. Further, the developed maturity model is applied and, on the basis of the results obtained, recommendations are developed to increase the maturity level of reverse logistics in the company. An assessment of the economic efficiency of the implementation of the proposed measures is also carried out. The conclusion contains the main conclusions made in the course of writing the final qualifying work.
