Specifics of the Incentive System for the Universities' Teaching Personnel

This research paper describes the theoretical aspects of employee motivation and incentive systems, identifies specific motivational types and incentive mechanisms corresponding to these types. The research also analyses in detail the features of the higher professional education system and the specifics of the work of the teaching staff of higher educational institutions. This theory and the results of the conducted empirical research are used to determine the types of motivation of teaching staff and the incentive system relevant to them, taking into account the specifics of the work of teachers and their profiles of preferences in relation to specific forms of incentive.
