Within the framework of the diploma photo project “Photo essay on the theme of the body. Performing Practices of the Present ”, a study was carried out using his own artistic experience using the subject's body as a basis for creating a creative act, aesthetic documentation of such works. Video and photography are often inseparable from each other and are the main way of capturing and transmitting what is happening. In this study, attention is paid, in particular, to video art and experimental cinematography, since these types of art are rich in works in which artists fully use the theme of freedom of expression, collision with their own physical body, and where the camera becomes an integral participant in the process, one with the author. projecting the phenomenon of bodily presence outside, producing new perspectives and meanings for understanding and visualizing works in galleries, museums, etc. The research is collected according to the principle of a catalog, considering several works of each selected author, since this form allows the most complete disclosure of different approaches to the topic of the body and identify common stylistic features in the work of artists. While selecting the material, I discovered several directions in this visual art. The study is divided into three sections, each of the presented work demonstrating a different approach. The first section that exists in the materially tangible world and seeks to know one's body across social boundaries, touch, contact, ritualization and tracking of everyday and everyday activities. The second section is devoted to the alternative exploration of what is, using the body understands the camera to transmit its observations. Can the viewer feel through his image, realize him as the subject of the visible, and to what extent our perception reflects or oppositely distorts the existence inside our body, how small or large are in relation to many objects in the world around us? The third section is devoted to avant-garde experiments in the field of video, where artists, through diary and experimental cinematography, create a new dimension of understanding performance, gender and physicality, free of any standards, both in sense and in visual language.
