In the era of globalization, English plays an important role in the development of foreign cultures. Thus, there is a tendency to use Anglicisms in Spanish. This is most clearly seen in the mass media. Spanish publishers resort to using Anglicisms in order to attract the attention of a potential reader, taking advantage of the fact that English-language borrowings stand out noticeably against the background of Spanish vocabulary. So, even without setting a goal, it will not be difficult for the reader of the Spanish-language press to find English-language borrowings and Anglicisms in the magazine. The purpose of the study is to study the phenomenon of English-language borrowings, analyze the selected Anglicisms from Spanish-language magazines, classify them, and analyze the need for their use and the possibility of replacing them with Spanish-language synonyms. The structure of this work consists of an introduction, a theoretical part, a practical part, conclusions for each chapter, a conclusion, and a list of references.
