Product 1. Analysis of the Higher Education System of the Orenburg Region. Development of the Proposals for Orenburg Agrarian University. The product is made in the form of an analytical review of the HE system of the Orenburg region, its role and place in the economy of the region. The customer of the research is the management of the Orenburg State Agrarian University. The purpose of the study is to identify the main trends in the regional HE system. Based on the findings obtained, the ways of integrating the educational policy of the university into existing trends were presented. The work analyzes the socio-economic situation of the Orenburg region, including examining GRP indicators in absolute terms and per person, per capita income of the population, the number of people employed in the regional economy and the share of high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries. The data was analyzed in comparison with neighboring regions. The analysis of the HE system of the Orenburg region included, in addition to quantitative indicators, a comparison of the structure of students and the structure of the employers in the regional economy, calculation of the availability of places and a study of the demand for HE programs at regional universities. The prospects for exporting education abroad were also explored and proposals were made to increase master's degree products for foreign students. Product 2. Can Bolivar Carry Double: What is the Future of the Branches of Large Regional Universities in Russia? Case of the Kuzbass Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute of Kemsu. The developed product is a case designed for management purposes. The customer was the Kuzbass Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute (KHPI) of the Kemerovo State University represented by the director of the KHPI D.G. Verzhitsky. The customer’s goal was to obtain specific proposals that could be quickly included in the development strategy of KHPI. The advantage of the product is that the case is based on a series of interviews and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The case contains the necessary materials for holding a moderated meeting to make a management decision by the director of KHPI. The customer notes that the case provided a fresh point of view on the work of the university from the prospective of various target audiences. As a result the customer have implemented a range of the proposals from the development team in the branch‘s strategy. Product 3. The Role of the Initiation in the Process of the Formation of the Readiness of Journalism Students for Professional Activities. Article. The article is devoted to the role of initiation in the formation of meaningful characteristics of the readiness of future journalists for professional activity. As part of their studies at the university, it is necessary to start introducing students to the profession as early as possible so that by the time they enter their first internship they will have gained experience working in a team and can create high-quality content within a given time frame. Currently, the content characteristics of readiness for professional activity and the peculiarities of its formation at different stages of higher education remain insufficiently studied. During the study, the methodology of A. P. Chernyavskaya "Professional readiness" and the statistical method "Student's T-test" for dependent samples were used as diagnostic tools. The empirical data obtained show that the inclusion of initiation technology in educational and extracurricular activities makes it possible to achieve positive dynamics of the parameters of students' readiness for professional activity at different stages of study at the university, ensures immersion in the future profession, accelerates the process of socialization.
