General InfoLectures, Talks and other School activitiesSchool ScheduleRegistrationCall for AbstractsPracticalities

We invite you to submit the paper to participate in the Summer Neurolinguistics School with a poster or a short oral presentation. We encourage abstracts on the research in children’s speech development and corresponding cognitive mechanisms, in both typically developing and clinical groups. The papers on theoretical and practice-oriented topics are welcome, for example, those related to the development of diagnostic instruments and methodology.

The abstract can describe a finished work or work in progress (proposing expected results/ possible outcome). We find it crucial to create an environment for establishing effective communication between junior researchers and senior specialists.

The word limit for the abstract is 250 words (not including work title, key words and references). The abstract should include the following sections:

  • Introduction, literature review

  • Method

  • Results (or expected results for works in progress)

  • Discussion

  • References (no more than 5 citations)

Please, do not include any tables, pictures or other forms of supplemental material in your text.

Formal requirements for the papers’ formatting style: Times New Roman font, the text should be justified (spaced to align with left and right margins), title’s size – 14 pt, text’s size – 12 pt, line spacing – 1,5. Citing and the reference list should be done according to the ГОСТ formatting style.

The template (with the correct formatting style) for writing an abstract can be found on our web-site. Please, use this template to write your text. While submitting your abstract, upload the text written in this template. Abstracts with other formatting styles will not be accepted.
