HSE University-St Petersburg to Open New ‘International Relations’ Track in ‘Political Science and World Politics’ Programme
Starting in 2025, the Bachelor's programme ‘Political Science and World Politics’ at HSE University-St Petersburg will train specialists not only in political science but also in international relations. This will significantly increase graduates' career opportunities in analytics, diplomacy, and consulting. Students of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics' have carried out joint research with the pharmaceutical company GEROPHARM. Together with experts, the future political scientists studied the restrictions faced by families of children with type 1 diabetes.
Yaroslav Barykin on His Studies to Become a Political Scientist with Honours Diploma, Preparations to State Exams and Favourite Courses
Yaroslav Barykin, a graduate of the Bachelor's programme 'Political Science and World Politics', finished his studies with an honours diploma and became a laureate of the Olympiad 'The Higher League'. The graduate is planning to continue his academic path in the Master's programme 'Data Analytics for Politics and Society' where he is accepted without the exams thanks to the Olympiad. Yaroslav chose this programme as he was interested in the way big data was used in politological researches.
