Dmitry Dagaev Appointed Director for Academic Development

Dmitry Dagaev has been working at HSE University since 2010. He began his academic career at the Department of Higher Mathematics where he lectured and conducted seminars for political science, sociology, and economics majors, as well as for students of the Higher School of Law and Administration and the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.
Since 2011, Dmitry Dagaev has been a member of the jury and methodology committees of school Olympiads in economics. Since 2021, he has been serving as the chairman of the jury of the final stage of the Russian National School Olympiad. In 2017, he initiated the International School of Economics Olympiad (IEO). Since 2013, as Deputy Vice-Rector, Dmitry Dagaev has coordinated the assessment of the faculty publications. Since 2018, he has headed the Laboratory of Sports Studies at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. He is a member of the programme committee of the Yasin (April) International Academic conference and head of the Sports Studies section.
As Director for Academic Development, Dmitry Dagaev will coordinate the activities of Office of Academic Research and be responsible for developing rules for and conducting individual competitive and evaluation procedures (academic bonuses, assessment of publication activity, etc.). He will also be coordinating the joint work of the Academic Research Office with the IT Office on the digitalization of mass processes.
