Today the research workshop of the Group was held. A few issues were included in agenda of this seminar.

Prof. Maria Molodchik shared her impression about attendance the Scientific Seminar in Copenhagen, where she presented Research Group’s “Empirical corporate finance” work preliminary results. Besides, within framework of the seminar a new project of cooperation between the Research Group and AREOPA company was discussed. Prof. Molodchik emphasized one more time the importance of this collaboration, which aimed at broader awareness on Intellectual Capital and Knowledge Management in Russia, development of new tools, methods and products that can help companies to manage their Intangibles and to transfer the unique knowledge about IC accounting and Knowledge Management to Russian enterprises.

Afterwards Vladimir Bykov presented his report about progress in collection of Russian companies database. He told participants about specific features of indicators collected and mentioned those students who currently do this work: D. Skidonova and A. Smirnova (NRU HSE-Perm, 2^nd year bachelors), V. Zimnyakova and A. Sharifulina (NRU HSE-Perm, 3^rd year bachelors). These talented guys appeared to be interested in work for the Research Laboratory, and in particular, for the Research Group “Empirical corporate finance”.

The concluding words were told by prof. Elena Shakina. She presented results of International Summer School 2013, and then Anna Bykova reported about schedule of the following workshops that are planned to be held by the end of 2013-2014 academic year. Also the current situation regards articles and preprints were discussed by the participants.
