In September 2020, the HSE Center for Language and Brain opened a new education trajectory, invited by the HSE School of Linguistics. It is an educational track in Experimental Linguistics, offered to 3 rd- to 4 th -year students of the bachelor’s programme in Fundamental and Computational linguistics, along with a theoretical and computational track.

From October 19 to October 23 the laboratory of stochastic analysis and its applications organized the international workshop "LSA Autumn Meeting 2020". The meeting gathered the leading experts in the field of stochastic analysis.
Nina Ladinskaya, Research Assistant at the HSE Center for Language and Brain, took part in the MANY PATHS TO LANGUAGE workshop (MPAL 2020) and made a presentation on the topic “The assimilation of the Russian case system by monolingual children and bilingual children”.
On October 22 Oleg Khukhlaev (PhD, Professor, Head of the Department of Ethnopsychology and Problems of Multicultural Education, Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University (MGPPU)) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Intercultural competence and the effectiveness of intercultural interaction".
On Wednesday, October 21, the National Research University Higher School of Economics hosted a regular meeting of the All-Moscow seminar "Mathematical methods for analyzing optimal solutions in economics, business and politics".
