Today was the third day of the Autumn school 'Current Trends in Decision-making Analysis' organized by the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis. The invited lecturers included outstanding academics and researchers Itzhak Gilboa, Theocharis Grigoriadis, Michel Grabisch, Gabrielle Demange, Saptarshi Mukherjee, Stefan Napel, Agnieszka Rusinowska, William Thomson, Katarína Cechlárová.

On November 7, the Autumn school on Current Trends in Decision-making Analysis opened. The event is organized by the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis. DeCAn lab organized a course of seminars on November 6, 2018 where leading international researchers Michel Grabisch, Gabrielle Demange, Saptarshi Mukherjee, Stefan Napel and Agnieszka Rusinowska presented their recent research results.
From 14 to 16 October 2018, the 9th All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists “Meeting big challenges” was held in Sochi in the Park of Science and Art “Sirius”. The goal of the event is widening of the networking cooperation and coordination of work of councils of young scientists in order to join efforts in solving strategic tasks of development of Russia. The Congress was held in the framework of the Annual International Summit of Young Scientists and Engineers “Great challenges for society, state and science”. Senior research fellow G.Penikas gave a talk at the conference.
On Wednesday, October 17 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. S. Shvydun gave a lecture on "Superposition Models in Data Analysis".
In 2018 the Department of Science and Technology of the Republic of South Africa commissioned a national Foresight study to the ISSEK Foresight Centre. Preliminary findings will be discussed at a workshop in Pretoria on October, 18–19. Ozcan Saritas, Leading Researcher at the Foresight Centre and Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies, will take part in this event.

What is a healthy city, how many residents of the capital adhere to a healthy lifestyle, what are the opportunities for this in Moscow? These and other issues were discussed on August 27 in the press centre of TASS at the panel discussion ‘Infrastructure of a healthy city’, organised by the Foundation of the International Medical Cluster, Moscow Centre of urban studies ‘City’ and VCIOM. The event was attended by Evgeniy Kutsenko, head of the HSE ISSEK Russian Cluster Observatory.
