“On the way to America” // HSE Jessup Team is the Finalist of the Jessup Russian Championship
On 2 February 2020 MGIMO hosted the Final Round of the Russian National Championship of the Jessup Competition – one of the most prestigious law competitions globally. The Team of Higher School of Economics (Moscow) appeared in the Final Round of the National Championship for the first time since 2017, and came as a Russian Runner-Up, after the champions of this year – the MGIMO team.
The HSE team became quarterfinalists of the FDI Moot in Miami!
This year, our students reached the quarterfinals of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot Court (“FDI Moot"), the most prestigious competition in the field of international investment arbitration. 57 teams from around the world participated in this year’s edition of FDI Moot. The competition was held in Miami, Florida, USA.
Fulbright Scholar on Working and Living in Moscow
HSE’s Faculty of Law is a partner of the Fulbright Scholar Programme and each year has the opportunity to host a Distinguished Chair in Sustainable Development. David Wirth, a Professor who teaches and supervises research at Boston College Law School, arrived at HSE in this capacity in September 2016 and spent the past academic year in Moscow.
