Curriculum
International Trade Policy programme has been developed as an innovative educational product aimed at preparing specialists, analysts, consultants, and experts working for businesses or for governments on domestic or international markets with the knowledge of the relevant regulative framework and with the skills to defend and promote economic interests of a company or a state by using appropriate trade policy instruments. Having mastered the proposed courses students are expected to obtain unique competencies in conducting foreign business operations in a rapidly changing environment. The programme provides students with the skills required for multilateral and regional operations, as well as those necessary to use and analyze international trade regulation tools, carry out trade negotiations and interact with government agencies, regional and international organizations. Students are expected to obtain a detailed understanding of international regulation of trade in products and services, trade policies of certain WTO member countries, formal and informal institutions of global governance, legal and economic terms and conditions of companies’ operations on international markets and many other issues related to trade policy, international trade and its regulation on both global and national levels. The programme is implemented by a team of world-class specialists in the field of international trade, trade policy and economic regulation. Practice-oriented disciplines and research seminar are also conducted by specialists of partner organizations and foreign lecturers.
