Anastasiya Lopukhina at Linguistic Evidence 2018 in Germany

From 15th till 17th of February the University of Tübingen (Germany) hosted the conference 'Linguistic Evidence 2018'. It was focused on the application of experimental methods to linguistic theory building in syntax and semantics.

The lab member Anastasiya Lopukhina presented a poster «The Representation of Polysemous Nouns, Verbs, and Adjectives in the Mental Lexicon» (the work was done together with Anna Laurinavichyute, Konstantin Lopukhin, and the head of the lab Olga Dragoy). This study showed that the mental representation of a polysemous word depends on its word class: different patterns were found for nouns and verbs on one hand and for adjectives — on the other.

The study was supported by a grant of the Russian Science Foundation, Project 16-18-02054.
