Workshop ‘Researcher’s Personal Brand: Why Bother’

For some people, the concept of personal branding is all about brand awareness; for others, it is part of infobusiness; and many consider personal branding an essential part of their CV. Whatever the case, technology and sales personal branding is a must-have in the media era. This workshop will explore why researchers may need personal branding, what this actually means in academia, and what questions it poses to its owners. Participants will practice setting goals for creating a personal brand and take away a set of tools to start or continue working on their brand.

Startup Fair

The HSE Cultural Centre will host a startup fair where guests can see the products of manufacturing businesses, download beta versions of applications, develop their visual experience, and even join the team of an interesting project. Start time: 12 pm

Concert by Honoured Artist of Russia Yana Ivanilova (soprano) and Olga Makarova (piano)

Honoured Artist of Russia Yana Ivanilova (soprano) will perform at the HSE Cultural Centre. The concert programme will feature romances by Tchaikovsky, Taneyev and Rachmaninov representing a diverse palette of Russian chamber vocal lyrics of the turn of the 19th–20th centuries. The piano accompaniment will be performed by international competition winner Olga Makarova.

Start time: 7 pm.

Online conference ‘Digital Governance and Public Administration: Interdisciplinary Insights from Research’

The International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration will hold an online conference on ‘Digital Governance and Public Administration: Interdisciplinary Insights from Research’. The purpose of the conference is to take a closer look at the ongoing transformations and present various points of view on the development of digital public administration. Over two days, a number of research projects will be presented on interdisciplinary prospects for the transformation of digital governance in the field of public administration.

Summer Concert by HSE Orchestra String and Wind Ensembles
