Members of ILSCR at the XVI April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development

On April 7th – 10th HSE hosted the XVI April international conference on economic and social development.The conference is cross-disciplinary, and members of various fields and disciplines participate. Members of ILSCR participated in the organization of three sessions of the “Sociocultural processes” section and delivered the following talks.

On April 10 Guillermo Owen (USA) gave a lecture on Game Theory at the laboratory seminar

He gave a general introduction to the theory of games, explained how it got this name, and  gave a description of the first such problems considered.  He discussed the several types of problems considered in this theory. 

New article by Sarracino and Sabatini!

New article `Online social networks and trust` written by associate researchers Francesco Sarracino and Fabio Sabatini is published. The authors express gratitude to LCSR collegues.

MA Programme 'Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation' Concludes Partnership Agreements with 5 Recognized Universities

HSE has finalised agreements with its international partner universities for new double diplomas and student exchanges in the framework of the Master’s programme in Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation. Dirk Meissner, Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies, Professor at the ISSEK Department of Educational Programmes and Academic Supervisor for the Master’s programme, spoke to the HSE English News service about how the new agreements are made to give master’s students the best opportunities for study abroad and double degree programmes while making sure they match HSE’s approaches and standards.

ANR Extended Seminar Was Held on April 11th

ANR Extended Seminar - Mid-Year Mini-Conference! With Stan in town, we were holding an extended seminar this Saturday, April 11th, starting at noon. Lab members presented their projects - progress from November conference, for bragging and feedback. Also we had guests from other HSE-units.
