On March 4 Plamen Akaliyski (PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher, Keio University, Japan) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "COVID-19, Existential Insecurity and Value Change in Japan".

At the seminar, Samin Aref (research scientist, Laboratory of Digital and Computational Demography, Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, Germany) presented "Studies on the migration of researchers and the academic life course using bibliometric data"

On February 25, Natalia Zevakhina gave a talk "Veridicality and cause-effect relation inindicative and subjunctive conditionals" at the Semantics and Pragmatics of Conditional Connectives Workshop which was held during the 43rd Annual Conference of the German Linguistic Society (DGfS).
