Michael Röckner was elected the president of the German Mathematical Society.Michael Röckner, one of the lab friends (https://lsa.hse.ru/en/friends) was elected the new president of the German Mathematical Society. Scientific cooperation of Professor Röckner with the members of the laboratory has led to the publication of a number of joint articles. Professor Röckner is the leader of the stochastic analysis group and the director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Bielefeld (Germany), and also the recipient of the Max Planck Award. On 8 December ISSEK hosted a discussion of best R&D and/or S&T management practices applied by academic organisations. Leading science, technology and education experts discussed conceptual models of R&D management, analysed various aspects of measuring academic organisations’ performance, and debated whether it would be at all possible to develop any universal success recipes.
